Welcome Back Families!!!
We hope you all had a safe and happy summer. The School Nutrition Staff are excited to have students and
staff back in the building.
We have some exiting new things to tell you about for this year. We have a new menu platform for families to
use called Health e Pro. This program allows you to click on any menu item and it displays the Nutritional
breakdown of that item. You can find the menus by going to myschoolmenus.com. Once you get to the menu
there are links on the page for the App. It is free to use and handy to have on your phone for quick reference. It
also has print capabilities if you prefer to have the menu on your fridge.
Also available this year is our Family Portal. I highly recommend setting up a free account for your student (s).
You can check history, choose restrictions, move funds between accounts and set up low balance alerts. You
can also add money to your student's account. The Family Portal link is quaboagrsd.familyportal.cloud The link
can also be found on the school’s website under the Nutrition Tab.
UniPay is also available for online payments, however, it does take a few days to process. Of course, cash can
always be used at the cash register.
Should your student wish to purchase a second meal, the cost will be $2.00 for breakfast and $3.50 for lunch. If
your student will be bringing in a meal from home and would like to purchase milk only, the cost is $.50.
Important**Students will be required to either type in their PIN number or scan a barcode at the
register at each meal service for grades 7-12 this year. An ID card will be provided with this information
during Homeroom the first day of school.
We are still classified as a CEP (Community Eligibility Program) school this year. This designation means all
students will continue to receive free meals. Each student is eligible to received one free breakfast and one free
lunch each school day. Also, with this designation, families will not be required to fill out Free and Reduced
forms again this year.
Please make sure to submit any allergy or dietary restrictions to the school nurse as soon as possible. We can
provide alternate meals to students who need them. USDA requires us to have a doctor’s note on file with the
school nurse stating any dietary restrictions. Notes from a parent or guardian do not qualify as a means of
notification. It must be from a doctor’s office.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Thank you from the entire Food Service Staff!
